QDEX makes residential and buy-to-let sourcing free for all brokers

Edge is the entry point to QDEX Intelligence. Three further editions add pre-submission checks, case management and controls for networks.

The newsAny mortgage broker can now use QDEX's Edge edition for residential and buy-to-let sourcing at no cost.
Why it mattersQDEX is betting that sourcing alone no longer sets a platform apart, and that brokers will pay for what comes after it.

What launched

QDEX has made Edge, the entry edition of its QDEX Intelligence platform, free to all mortgage brokers, Mortgage Solutions and Financial Reporter reported on 22 July 2026. Edge covers residential and buy-to-let sourcing.1,2

The coverage didn't mention second-charge or bridging sourcing, so specialists will still need another source for those cases.1

The other editions

Three further editions build on Edge, each adding to the one before:1

  • Edge+ adds pre-submission lending intelligence: lender matching, mortgage modelling and automated client and compliance documentation.
  • Edge Ops adds an operating platform for broker firms, with case management, workflow automation and standardised processes.
  • Edge One adds governance for mortgage networks, clubs and larger firms, including bespoke workflows, oversight tools, custom integration and implementation support.

Pre-submission checks

Financial Reporter described the pre-submission category as helping brokers "validate lending decisions, identify potential underwriting issues" before a case goes to a lender. QDEX says its technology "analyses a client's circumstances against a lender's policy, criteria and appetite" to match cases to eligible lenders.2,1

The pitch

Founder and chief executive Kem Kemal said: "For years, mortgage technology has competed to build better sourcing tools." Finding products, he said, "is no longer the challenge". He added: "The challenge is knowing you've chosen the strongest lending route before valuable time is invested".1

He described free residential and buy-to-let sourcing as "how we invite the industry to experience it".1

None of the launch coverage gave prices for Edge+, Edge Ops or Edge One.1
